In the Palinghuizen district of Ghent there is a B&B, situated in a quiet street. The actual B&B is a basement : daylight enters through small windows close to the ceiling.  A narrow staircase leads to it.

Everything that is available in a regular B&B was also present here, even a spacious bathroom with a lot of comfort.  The owners had done their best to decorate everything nicely.  Yet I still had the impression that I was in a cellar.

No sooner had I set up all my photo equipment than the owner led Sarah inside.

The next day he told me that he had also photographed models in the past, especially his own wife.  He showed me some photos that he had enlarged.  And if I came back again, on a warm day in the summer, I could use the courtyard.  The model could walk around naked and use all the furniture in the garden.  Like a garden bench, for example.  There was one problem : the neighbours could feast their eyes, because several windows looked out onto this garden from above. But a professional model didn't mind that.

Sarah was cold.  She didn't feel very well, but she tried her best.  The B&B was still warm.  I took 145 pictures.  Not a lot, but I was still quite satisfied, because Sara is a very beautiful and professional model.
