The lesson assignment was short and concise : make a picture of a model !    I had never done this before, but there's a first time for everything.

Lynn was willing to pose for me. I had never met her in person, but she looked beautiful on the modelnet site.

I had purchased a hanging system for the background rolls.  If you want to photograph a model from different angles, such a roll shouldn't be too narrow. And the ceiling should not be too low.

The photography class turned out to be too small for my shots.  Fortunately, teacher Hilde said : 'Jan, you can take the computer class next door.  It is a bit more spacious.  I'll come and have a look when time is right.'

I had one hour to set everything up : the background, my softboxes with tripod, my camera with tripod and all kinds of accessories.

Lynn was right on time.  She posed for two hours.  She asked casually : 'Don't you want me to pose naked ? That's no problem, you know.'  I didn't dare give permission for that. You never know who will come in unexpectedly.  The teacher, of course, but also the IT-man; he came to check the power supply for the computers.    But he understood.

I learned that you can easily project colored light on a black background.

Lynn had a great time with the large fan that allowed her to blow her long hair.

After 131 takes I thought it was enough, because I still had to dismantle the entire set and put it back in the car.
